Choose Finance is a Finance Montréal initiative, supported by CFA Montréal, aimed at attracting a new generation of talent to our industry. The three-year initiative has been visible all over the city for the past few months - on social networks, BIXI, buses, urban posters, in Urbania, etc.
A campaign to change the way people look at finance
The sector faces a real challenge: attracting a more diversified younger generation, sometimes wary of an industry still associated with persistent myths. The campaign responds directly to this challenge by showcasing finance that is innovative, human, and sustainable. It highlights the concrete contribution made by professionals in the sector and the diversity of possible career paths.
The goal: to demystify the professions, promote their impact, and inspire young people – particularly CEGEP students, but also university and high school students – to consider a career in finance.
The campaign is gaining momentum because it is supported by a wide network of financial institutions and partners, including our association. As a community of investment professionals, we share the ambition to show that finance is exciting, full of career opportunities, and a driving force behind the sustainable transition. A positive lever for our profession, likely to interest young people.

Why it matters to our community
By supporting this campaign, CFA Montréal is investing in the future of the profession and aiming to attract more women to investment. Some preliminary results, such as the number of followers on the campaign's Instagram account, show that more than half are young girls.
As of last December, there had been 1,133,800 views of the various videos presented, illustrating the tangible impact of the campaign.
