CFA Institute and CFA Montreal scholarships are part of our commitment to promoting the highest standards of ethics, education and professional excellence. Our scholarships help make the CFA® charter more accessible and give more people the opportunity to advance their careers.
CFA Montréal Excellence Scholarships
Thanks to the generosity of its partners, CFA Montréal distributes several scholarships each year to candidates enrolled in the CFA program who stand out for their results and their involvement in the financial community.
Of the 10 scholarships offered in 2026, 6 are specifically reserved for female candidates to encourage greater representation of women in the investment industry.

Five scholarships offered by CFA Montréal
CFA Montréal is offering five scholarships of 1,500 $ each to support the next generation of finance professionals, three of which will be awarded to female candidates.
Four bursaries offered by La Caisse
As a major partner of CFA Montréal, the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec is offering four scholarships worth 2,500 $ each to students at Montréal universities, to help develop the next generation of investment professionals. With a view to increasing the number of women in the industry, two of these scholarships will be awarded to female candidates.
A scholarship donated by Adriana Arrillaga, CFA
Adriana Arrillaga, CFA, offers a scholarship of 3 000$ A $3,000 scholarship established by Adriana Arrillaga, CFA, for a female CFA Candidate enrolled at Concordia's Goodman Institute of Investment Management and has succeeded in the CFA Level I exam.
Criteria
- Be enrolled in the winter 2026 session, in the 2nd or 3rd year of a bachelor's degree in commerce or B.A.A., specializing in finance, or in the 2nd or 3rd cycle.
- Be registered for one of the CFA Institute's CFA exams that will take place between now and December 31, 2026, when the bursary is paid out.
- Based on your GPA and your involvement in the financial community, explain why the student should be chosen in the application form.
- Submit proof of GPA if you are selected by the Committee.
Adrianna Arrillaga, CFA Scholarship additional criteria :
- Be registered to Concordia's Goodman Institute of Investment Management.
- Have passed the CFA Exam Level I.
How to apply
1. Make sure you meet the selection criteria.
2. Complete the application form before 5 p.m. on February 26, 2026.
Selection by a committee will be based on academic results (GPA) and demonstrated involvement in the investment field (Research Challenge, stock market simulations, investment funds, student associations, trade games, etc.). Please provide details of your involvement, including dates, organization and role.
