The Research Challenge is back!

Free webinars offered by CFA Montréal, an initiative introduced following the previous survey RESEARCH CHALLENGE IS BACK!

CFA Montreal and CFA Quebec are delighted to announce the launch of the 2024 local competition of the Research Challengean annual international competition that enables students to learn best practice in financial analysis through hands-on coaching and intensive training.

Last year, over 5,000 students from more than 900 universities worldwide took part in the competition.

Teams will compete against teams from other Quebec universities, and will have the opportunity to :

• analyze a public company
•  be supervised by investment management professionals
• write a research report on the actions of the company studied
• present their research to a panel of high-level experts
• advance to the next level of the competition each time they win a match.

What's next?

• Universities have until October 20, 2023 before 5 p.m. to register their teams
• The official launch of the 2023-2024 season and the unveiling of the company to be analyzed will take place on November 22, 2023 from 1 to 4:30 p.m.
• Local final : February 15, 2024 from 2 to 4:30 p.m.
