Since taking office, I've had the pleasure of representing the association on a number of occasions, with the CFA Institute and with partners, and these first few months have been rich in discoveries. I've had the privilege of meeting many of you at events, committees and professional meetings, and I'm always impressed by the sincere commitment that drives our community, and the strength of our relationships.
These interactions reinforce a conviction of mine: CFA Montréal is not only a respected professional organization; it is a living network made up of passionate individuals who hold themselves to high standards and who are deeply committed to the integrity and excellence that define our profession.
These meetings have also given me a strong sense of collective responsibility. That of continuing to develop our services, our training courses and our exchange spaces so that they truly reflect your needs. I'm thinking of our very active members, and of those who, for various reasons, interact with us less often.
In the coming months, several important initiatives will take shape: professional development opportunities, efforts to strengthen the visibility of the CFA designation, and renewed networking activities. But for these projects to have a real impact, they must be built with you, not only for you.
This is why, in the coming weeks, we will launch our annual member survey. I know you are already very much solicited, but your participation will be essential. It will help us better understand what motivates you, what may hold you back, and what you expect from CFA Montréal. This is a crucial step for our team.
Every voice helps shape the future of our association.
I therefore invite you to share your feedback widely when the time comes. Your input will guide our decisions, inform our priorities, and help us go further — for you.
