This hands-on workshop will introduce participants to how to guide an AI agent to automate everyday tasks and streamline workflows in the investment industry.
Through practical exercises, participants will learn how to write effective instructions, manage the agent’s context, and validate its outputs. They will then put these skills into practice by transforming an unstructured Excel file into an automated, reusable workflow connected to real-time data through the Bank of Canada’s Valet API.
Workshop Agenda:
- Guide an AI agent: define objectives, provide clear instructions, refine outputs through iteration, and manage context.
- Automate a recurring task: transform an Excel file into a structured, automated, and reusable workflow.
- Integrate AI into your workflow: connect the agent to data sources and professional tools while applying best practices for validation, security, and confidentiality.
