CFA Montréal applauds Danielle Filistin's dedicated involvement with the university community

On August 25, the 9thth edition of the annual Méchoui organized by FIAMtl, during which CFA Montréal awarded the Woman who has distinguished herself by her outstanding involvement in the Montreal financial and investment community to Danielle Filistin, CFA, PRM. This distinction recognizes her contribution to the development of the finance professions, and more specifically the CFA designation, within the wider academic community.

As head of CFA Montreal's University Relations Committee, Ms. Filistin is determined to provide students with all the tools they need to demystify the financial industry and help them grow within it.

"As Head of CFA Montreal's University Relations Committee, I share this honor with CFA Montreal and also CFA Quebec, who have built a local financial community with impact and voice on the global stage," said said Ms. Filistin. "I would also like to underline the attentive listening and support I received from our General Manager, Jo-Ann Hajdamacha, and our President, Odrée Ducharme, for whom the contribution of women is important to the development of tomorrow's financial expertise. For me, this award is a memorable recognition of the efforts and work accomplished despite the difficult context of the past two years."

Ms. Filistin would like to point out that this award testifies to the importance of CFA Montréal's volunteers and partners, without whom she would not have been able to accomplish this colossal task: bringing together students, professors and professionals so that they can share their experiences and knowledge in all humility.. "Giving back to tomorrow's builders of this exemplary community inspires me to take up challenges on a daily basis. I would like to thank Claude Perron and the entire FIAMtl team for their ongoing dedication to promoting local expertise and growing our network worldwide. Thank you all for this honorable recognition."

The award was presented at FIAMtl's annual Méchoui.its Chairman, Claude Perronunderlined that: "Informing, inspiring, sharing experience and facilitating networking are all at the heart of the mission of the CFA Montreal University Relations Committee, which Danielle heads. Her exceptional contribution to the development of a community of young talent is a significant contribution to the influence of our financial community in Quebec and even abroad. We congratulate Danielle on her leadership!"
