Once again, the 2025 edition of the Forecast Dinner, a flagship event in Montreal’s financial ecosystem, brought together a large and engaged audience at the Palais des Congrès de Montréal. Over 850 participants attended this exceptional evening, hosted by Karl W. Gagné, CFA, filled with insightful discussions and economic projections.
From the opening cocktail, the energy was palpable and remained high throughout the event!
Following the presentation of the 2024 Top Forecaster Award to Aubin Tcheussa’a’ a Kenné, fintech expert and founder of Kenjee Capital, we officially launched the 2025 Forecasting Contest, continuing the beloved tradition.
Later, our distinguished panelists provided valuable perspectives on global economic trends and upcoming challenges. This year, we had the privilege of hosting Robyn Grew (Man Group) and Rick Rieder (BlackRock), expertly guided in their discussion by Kristina Partsinevelos, journalist at CNBC. 92% of respondents to the Forecast Dinner satisfaction survey gave an overall rating between 'good' and 'excellent,' demonstrating strong appreciation for this year's format.
We extend our sincere thanks to our members, partners, and guests who contributed to the success of this evening. Thanks to you, this event remains a highly anticipated gathering for the financial community.
The Forecast Dinner marks the end of a brilliantly executed season, led by our programming committee.
