TheAnalyst Dayheld on November 21 marked a key milestone of the CFA Institute’s global Research Challenge competition.
This event, organized by CFA Montreal and CFA Quebec, brought together students and professors from eight Quebec universities who will be preparing in the coming months for the local competition scheduled for February 2025.
At the heart of the day, Abhinav Singhvi, CFO of Volatus Aerospace, the company selected for this year's case study, delivered a captivating presentation on the company's operations, strategic challenges and financial outlook. Students had the opportunity to deepen their understanding of this innovative company specializing in cutting-edge aeronautical solutions.
During this immersive day attended by Sandy Poiré, CFA, president of CFA Montréal, and Jessica Morasse, CFA, representative of CFA Québec, the teams also benefited from the valuable advice of Jérôme Dubreuil, CFA, who shared his insights on how to write a high-quality report.
