It was a great pleasure to see so many of you at our event Perspective which launched the year 2024 in style. We've picked up some valuable information, but also a good dose of energy in your company!
As you've seen over the past few months, the CFA Institute is evolving rapidly, and the new resources available to us are increasingly varied. Whether it's new certificates tailored to our career development, the Research & Policy Center where I like to read up on recent trends in the industry, or the digital experience of members, we can only be delighted with all these improvements, and it's in our interest to maximize their use.
To illustrate this new direction, CFA Institute has repositioned its brand image to better communicate the scope of its services and reflect its growth. By the same token, you'll have noticed that CFA Montreal has been proudly displaying its new corporate colors for the past few weeks, marking a refreshing move towards the future.
We are also entering 2024 with our own creations, including the new Forum on innovation in finance to be held in Montreal on April 30. We hope that this new format and theme, which is an obvious addition to our program, will meet your evolving networking and career development needs.
Your expertise will also be in the spotlight in March, as part of a mini-campaign to showcase atypical career paths and lesser-known facets of the profession in Urbania and the Financial Post. In this way, we hope to inspire the next generation and encourage young women to choose the path of finance and investment.
To help us continue our reflections and align our services with your concrete needs, we're counting heavily on each and every one of you to evaluate our services by sharing your comments massively in our dedicated member survey, which will be launched in February. This information is essential not only for our team, but also for you, who will benefit from our advances.
I'd like to thank all those who took the opportunity to have their voices heard in the AFFQ (Association des femmes en finance du Québec) survey Carrière en finance: trajectoires professionnelles et impacts. The information gathered will be extremely useful for the future of our profession.
If you're taking time off in the near future, I wish you all the best for your spring break, and I also wish the candidates taking the Level 1 exam in February every success!
