The year 2020 will soon fade away, to be replaced by a year that we hope will be more serene for your journey in the CFA program.
Your ability to adapt to change has been sorely tested this year, and we're pleased to see that most of you have already registered for one of next year's exams, a perseverance that will undoubtedly pay off in the long run. CFA Institute continues to work hard to increase test center capacity so that you can all take your exams. Please note that CFA Institute remains your sole point of reference for the Program and the exams.
As for CFA Montreal, we'll be setting up a practical exam with our partner to help you prepare for your exam. Details will be announced in the coming weeks.
On that note, we'd like to inform you that by becoming a member of CFA Montreal you get free registration for a practice exam, as well as numerous privileges such as exclusive access to job offers and preferential rates to participate in our programming events.
The next event that might interest you is Discovery Day - Careers in Finance, a unique opportunity to talk with industry professionals about their career paths and what led them to choose the CFA Program. The online event will take place on November 19, so there's still time to register!
At the beginning of 2021, we'll be bringing you our first event where you can talk to new CFA holders about the CFA route. The four panelists will share their experiences with you: their failures, their winning formulas, their tips and tricks, and the pitfalls to avoid. More information coming soon, so stay tuned!
