CFA Montreal is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Jo-Ann Hajdamacha as General Manager. She will assume her new duties on July 19, 2021. This appointment coincides with the first year of implementation of CFA Montreal's new three-year strategic plan. One of the priorities of this plan is to sustain the quality of services to CFA Montréal members and CFA candidates, and to motivate their commitment through an enhanced, diversified and evolving offer.
Jo-Ann Hajdamacha has a wide range of experience and a keen understanding of the associative sector, including roles as Account Manager for Réseau Capital and Director of Member Services and Sponsorships for Anges Québec. More recently, she has acted as an independent consultant to small and medium-sized businesses, offering human resources management consulting services to contribute to their development.
"We are very pleased to welcome Jo-Ann. Her human qualities and expertise in governance, customer service, partner relationship management and human resources make her the ideal person to pursue our objectives and support CFA Montreal's mission, says Carl Robert, Chairman of the Board.
"It is with great enthusiasm that I join the CFA Montreal team to actively contribute to supporting members in the practice of their profession, to the development of their careers and to the enhancement of the CFA designation." stresses Jo-Ann Hajdamacha. "The issues and commitment of our members and candidates will be at the heart of my priorities. "
Jo-Ann takes over from Caroline Soulas, who has headed the association since 2016: "I would like to thank Caroline, who has played a pivotal role in the professionalization of the association undertaken by CFA Montréal over the past year, and who has enabled me to join a strong association that enjoys great credibility in the Montreal finance ecosystem", she adds. "I am also grateful for the confidence the Board of Directors has placed in me for this mandate."
