CFA Montreal raises $211,900 for JA Quebec

Financial Literacy Month is now over, and we feel a sense of great accomplishment after the InvestPact Symposium, which took place on November 19.

More than 350 participants gathered at this philanthropic event dedicated to the important cause of youth financial literacy. This milestone event resulted in a check for $211,900 being presented to JA Québec educational programs. A dozen financial experts shared their inspiring journeys, and their captivating interventions left a strong impression and reinforced the mission of this event.

As part of our partnership, CFA Montréal and JA Québec will work closely, over the upcoming months, on designing impactful projects that will continue to benefit youth in Québec. This partnership exemplifies the power of collaboration in addressing pressing educational gaps and building a more inclusive, financially literate society.

Our heartfelt thanks go to our donors, whose generosity allows us to have a concrete impact on the financial education of young people. We also thank the speakers and volunteers, including the members of the organizing committee: Hugues Bessette, CFA, Yves Caron, CFA, Ludovic Dumas, CFA, Thomas Gagné, CFA, as well as Zuhrah Karim Dad, CFA, who hosted this wonderful day.

Finally, a big thank you to the volunteers of the selection and outreach committees for their valuable commitment.
