In his current role at Jarislowsky Fraser Global Investment Management, Karl is - Head of institutional business development for Eastern Canada. His mandate is to develop and implement the firm's business development and visibility strategy. He works closely with institutional clients, in addition to collaborating with consultants and insurers.
Previously, Karl worked for various insurers. In his previous position, he was Director of Institutional Business Development and Customer Relations for Quebec and Atlantic Canada at Sun Life Global Investments. He also worked at Manulife, where he rose through the ranks in the retirement and investment field.
Karl holds a bachelor's degree from Université Laval, an MBA in investment management from Concordia University and is a CFA® charterholder. Also keen to promote and improve financial literacy among young people, Karl was involved for several years with the Finance Montréal Youth Committee before joining the CFA Montréal Board of Directors.
