I'm writing these lines now that autumn is well underway and our professional agendas are overflowing with commitments and activities of all kinds. I'm looking forward with great enthusiasm to the 2024-2025 season. In addition to programming rich in diversified content and the return of great classics such as Outlook and the Forecast Dinnerwe will have the privilege of presenting InvestPact Symposium in November 2024, with net proceeds going to JA Québec's programs, which aim to educate the next generation for a better future.
This type of initiative reflects CFA Montréal's commitment to promoting technical and ethical excellence in the investment management profession, from fostering a dynamic communityand shaping the future of finance in Montreal and Quebec.
It is therefore with great pride that I unveil to you today the broad outlines of our 2024-2027 strategic plan. The result of deep reflection, Destination 2027 represents a roadmap that aligns with our core values of integrity, professionalism and continuous learning. It serves as a guiding framework to propel CFA Montreal forward, while taking into account the evolving landscape of the finance and investment industry.
Destination 2027 customizes 4 strategic objectives by establishing specific targets and actions based on the evolution of the Montreal market. I invite you to discover them in this summary which sets out the areas we will explore over the next three years in a context of innovation, collaboration and commitment.
On a completely different note, I'm about to embark on the second year of my mandate, and I have to admit that the coming months will present several unique opportunities for our association. In October, Montreal will host the SLC (Society Leadership Conference) organized by the CFA Institute. This event will welcome senior executives from 160 CFA companies around the world. Then, in January, we will embark on the commemorative activities surrounding the 75th anniversary of our founding.th anniversary of the founding of CFA Montréal.
2024-2025 promises to be particularly festive!
