{"id":26070,"date":"2024-11-28T15:50:00","date_gmt":"2024-11-28T20:50:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cfamontreal.org\/?p=26070"},"modified":"2025-08-06T16:04:24","modified_gmt":"2025-08-06T20:04:24","slug":"the-research-challenge-competition-is-launched","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cfamontreal.org\/en\/la-competition-du-research-challenge-est-lancee\/","title":{"rendered":"The Research Challenge Competition Is Officialy Launched!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The<em>Analyst Day<\/em>held on November 21 marked a key milestone of the CFA Institute\u2019s global <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cfainstitute.org\/insights\/events\/research-challenge\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>Research Challenge<\/em><\/a> competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This event, organized by CFA Montreal and CFA Quebec, brought together students and professors from eight Quebec universities who will be preparing in the coming months for the local competition scheduled for February 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the heart of the day, Abhinav Singhvi, CFO of Volatus Aerospace, the company selected for this year's case study, delivered a captivating presentation on the company's operations, strategic challenges and financial outlook. Students had the opportunity to deepen their understanding of this innovative company specializing in cutting-edge aeronautical solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During this immersive day attended by Sandy Poir\u00e9, CFA, president of CFA Montr\u00e9al, and Jessica Morasse, CFA, representative of CFA Qu\u00e9bec, the teams also benefited from the valuable advice of J\u00e9r\u00f4me Dubreuil, CFA, who shared his insights on how to write a high-quality report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>We would like to sincerely thank Omar Mourad, CFA, and L\u00e9d\u00e9enne Chapleau, CFA, for organizing this activity in the premises of our partner, the CDPQ, represented by Odr\u00e9e Ducharme, CFA.
