Michel Charron is an Associate Partner, Investment Consulting at Aon’s Montreal office. With over 30 years of experience, Michel Charron has recently joined the Investment Consulting team at Aon after having worked in consulting with PBI Actuarial Consultants since 2009. Michel works closely with pension plans and foundations and is involved in all aspects related to investment consulting, particularly in terms of portfolio construction, performance monitoring and manager searches. He also participates in portfolio compliance monitoring, in the development and revision of investment policy statements, in optimizing asset allocation and in the application of responsible investment principles.

Michel holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McGill University with a major in Finance and is a Chartered Financial Analyst charter holder (CFA). He has earned the CFA ESG Investing certification and also holds diplomas from the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and the Canadian Investment Funds Course (CIFC). He is currently a Director on the Board of the CFA Montreal Association and is also a member of the programming committee since 2017 and the ESG Committee since 2019.
