Jo-Ann Hajdamacha
Jo-Ann Hajdamacha became CFA Montréal’s Executive Director in July 2021. In this role, she is responsible for the management and administration of the Society and for the implementation of the strategic plan established by the Board of Directors. She is also in charge of CFA Montréal’s overall visibility and, as such, works to raise the profile of the CFA designation and profession, optimize business development and create strategic synergies.
Jo-Ann has extensive insight into Montreal’s financial and entrepreneurial ecosystems, having previously served as an account director for Réseau Capital, a Quebec-wide venture capital and private equity association, and head of member services and sponsorships at Anges Québec, Canada’s largest network of angel investors. During the course of her career, she has also worked as a human resources consultant, helping small and medium-sized businesses grow and thrive.
Her more than 30 years of experience has touched on strategic planning, partnership development, client retention, human resources administration and communications for both the private and the not-for-profit sectors.
In keeping with her commitment to staying current on the latest business management practices, Jo-Ann completed a microprogram in organizational behaviour at HEC Montréal in 2021. She was also part of the 2022 cohort of the A Effect’s Ambition Challenge for women leaders.
