FRANÇOIS CRÉMET, CFA
François Crémet joined CDPQ in 2017 and is currently Senior Director, Sustainability. As part of his duties, he leads the ESG value protection/creation activities for the private equity portfolio as well as the measurement of impact and ESG performance. He also drives CDPQ’s digital and analytical strategy as it relates to sustainability. Lastly, he oversees CDPQ’s initiatives in terms of equity, diversity and inclusion with regards to portfolio companies and managers.
Before joining CDPQ, François worked for more than ten years in the field of strategy and management consulting, first at SECOR Consulting and then at KPMG, both in Montreal and Paris. He has supported leading organizations, mainly in the financial services sector, in their strategic thinking and business transformations, as well as in projects focused on customer strategy, leadership development, operating model review, stakeholder management and organizational culture evolution.
François holds a Bachelor's degree in business administration from HEC Montréal, with a specialization in finance, as well as the CFA designation. He is a graduate of the Global Village for Future Leaders of Business & Industry program from the Iacocca Institute at Lehigh University and obtained the Fundamentals of Sustainability Accounting (FSA) Credentials from the IFRS Foundation and the Certificate in Climate & Investing from CFA UK.
