We are proud to announce the launch of our new podcast, "Finance in Action," created by investors for investors. This podcast offers a fresh and insightful perspective on the impact of finance and investment in the world and highlights discussions with renowned experts. In these first episodes hosted by Milla Craig, President and CEO of Millani, we welcome Stéphanie Lachance, Partner and Head of Sustainable Investment at Fiera Comox, and Tom Rand, sustainable finance expert and co-founder of ArcTern Ventures.

In the first episode, Stéphanie Lachance explains that "an investor who only looks at financial performance through our company's financial statements would have a partial view and might even have blind spots on the risks, but also on the opportunities that an analysis focused on sustainability will bring." She explores new avenues for value-generating sustainable finance in a context where the need for compliance with ESG criteria already seems outdated.

In the second episode, Tom Rand analyzes the current capitalism systems and takes us beyond the energy transition. He emphasizes that " Without radical intervention in our economy, we will go right off the climate cliff. That risk is existential." Together with Milla Craig, they demystify some of the myths and blind spots preventing us from moving faster toward green growth.
