DIVE INTO THE RESEARCH CHALLENGE EXPERIENCE!
The kickoff of the local competition for the 2025 Research Challenge organized by CFA Montréal and CFA Québec will take place on November 21 will during Analyst Day!
Suspense will reign until then as to the name of the company that agreed to serve as a “learning ground” this year… One thing is certain! It will be, as always, an exciting and educational exercise that will allow you to complete your studies and stand out.
This annual international competition exposes students to best practices in financial analysis, complete with hands-on mentoring and intensive training.
More than 6,700 students from over 900 universities around the world took part in last year’s Research Challenge.
The local competition provides competing teams from universities across Québec with the opportunity to:
- Analyze a publicly traded company;
- Be coached by investment management professionals;
- Write an equity research report on the subject company;
- Present their research to a distinguished panel of experts;
- Advance to the next level of competition every time they win.
What's next?
- Universities have until 5 p.m. on November 1, 2024, to register their teams;
- The official kickoff of the 2025 season and the unveiling of the company to be analyzed will take place on November 21, 2024 (Afternoon);
- Local Finals: February 26, 2025.
